Welcome to the world of dancing! We are: Adelaide Dance Centre Pty Ltd (ABN 67 613 817 262) trading as Steven Kelly International Dance Studios (“the studio”). We provide: the highest quality dance tuition for adults, in a wide variety of Latin, Ballroom and Club dance styles.   • Classes are for Adults 16+ years
  • Weekday classes are 50 mins. Weekend classes are 1-hour
  • Sign-in at reception opens 10 mins before each class
  • All classes are 8 week courses. NO drop-in classes
  • A $15 Trial Class is available to all new students
  • Shoes or appropriate footwear must be worn at all times
  • Classes are non-transferable. No refunds for missed classes.
  • Classes run AS NORMAL on Public Holidays unless advised
  • All students sign enrolment/registration form. If student is under 18 years old, a Parent/Guardian must sign upon enrolment.
  • Current dance class Timetable is for Adelaide location only


  • Private lessons are 50 minutes duration
  • All bookings are by appointment. Please call (08) 8231 8231 to book
  • Private dance lesson packages start from $59 per lesson and are valid for either one (1) or two (2) people.
  • Lessons must be pre-paid before they are booked with an instructor
  • For cancellations, please give minimum 24 hours’ notice to avoid being fully charged for that lesson
  • There are no refunds for any private lesson packages, however lessons may be transferable upon Managements discretion
  • All packages are valid for twelve (12) months from date of purchase. *Exception is for Gift Certificates. See below.
  • Regular private lessons can be booked anytime from 3.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday
  • All enrolments subject to a signed Enrolment Agreement form
  • Weekend bookings for Wedding Dance lessons may become available four (4) weeks before the wedding. Bookings by appointment This is to give priority to couples getting married the soonest and those travelling from interstate


  • Gift certificates can be purchased online, in the studio or over the phone
  • Online and over the phone purchases will receive their Gift Certificate by email within 24 to 48 hours
  • Gift certificates are valid for either one (1) or two (2) people in our Adelaide dance studios only
  • Private lessons are 50 minutes duration. More info on private lessons click here

  • Please present your printed Gift Certificate to your first lesson
  • Vouchers are valid for 5 months from the date of purchase
  • Please give 24 hours notice for any cancellations or you will risk forfeiting the lesson you had booked
  • Dance Gift Certificates are not valid for wedding dance choreography, current or past enrolled students
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable
  • Gift certificates cannot be combined with any other offer
  • Not redeemable for cash


  • The FREE private lesson advertised is valid for all Latin, Ballroom and Club dance styles only. Not valid for Hip Hop
  • Free lesson includes a consultation and approximately 20 minutes of dance instruction. Please allow up to 45 mins total time in-studio
  • New students only
  • Not valid with any other offer
  • Not redeemable for cash


  • Class location: Please note all classes are held in our (Adelaide) Studio location at Level 3, 14 Grenfell Street, Adelaide 5000 South Australia. If you’d prefer to host at another location, call-out fees may apply
  • Payments: To confirm a booking and secure your chosen date, a 50% deposit or the payment for minimum numbers (whichever is greater) will be required. Please note deposits are 100% non-refundable, but once the deposit is paid your booking is 100% confirmed and guaranteed! Final numbers and any outstanding balance can be finalized up to 14 days before the event. Payment methods include: EFTPOS, Cash, Over the Phone, Bank Transfer. Please note that no refunds are given for any no-shows on the day
  • What to Wear: This will mostly depend on the Dance style you have chosen. For some styles, you can wear normal “going out” clothing and for others, loose fitting or sports wear is best. Please check with us upon booking and we’ll give you our recommendation
  • EXTRAS: Want to have extra time in our Venue to relax, host your own hens games, make speeches and open the gifts? We can make that happen! Venue hire can be added onto any Hens dance packages at a special flat rate of $80 per hour, per room. BYO catering may be available pending on type* Conditions Apply. View Hire pricing



  • Casual Hire rates apply to once-off hire
  • This includes but is not limited to hosting class workshops, performance space hire, auditions, video clip shootings and more
  • *For Special Events and Functions please contact us for a custom quote
  • To secure the booking on your selected date/times, all Hire Bookings must be prepaid in full and are non-refundable
  • If you need to change or alter a booking in any way, please give minimum of 7 days notice or risk forfeiting the booking fee
  • Changing a booking pends strictly on availability and does not guarantee you the same day or times of the original booking
  • Additional cleaning and/or a refundable security deposit fee may be incurred pending on type of event
  • Payment Options: EFTPOS, Cash, Credit, Over the Phone

  • Studio Hire Agreement to be signed upon confirmation of all Bookings


  • Ongoing Hire rates apply to bookings with minimum 6 weeks consecutive hire
  • Ongoing Hire may include but is not limited to dance classes, rehearsals, meetings and practice time
  • Bookings must be prepaid one (1) month in advance at all times and are non-refundable
  • Bookings cannot be changed or rescheduled once confirmed. Under extenuating circumstances we may be able to accommodate small changes to the booking if 7 days written notice is given, but this is neither typical nor guaranteed.
  • Hire fees/bookings cannot be rolled over into the next week/s
  • The Hirer is liable for any damage, excessive mess or stolen studio property; we urge you to please take care of our venue or risk forfeiting all future Bookings & fees paid.
